Aim of The Event:To give people the opportunity to enjoy cycling on the quieter rural roads around Doneraile in a relaxed and supportive group setting. The aim is to encourage people who may be casual cyclists to get out on the bike and enjoy cycling in the countryside.
Event Description: Participants will meet in Doneraile Park where bikes and helmets will be checked and adjusted if required. The group will then take part in a guided cycle along the quieter roads between Doneraile and Buttevant. The cycle will take approximately 2–2.5 hours at an easy pace suitable for casual cyclists. The route offers a pleasant mix of countryside views and quiet rural roads. The cycle will finish back in Doneraile Park where participants can relax and enjoy a coffee.

Aim of The Event: Advice on getting children cycling using balance bikes.
Event Description: We will offer advice to parents on getting children cycling using balance bikes and give children a taste of using a balance bike on a small obstacle course.

Aim of The Event: Get younger children and families out exploring their local park by bike.
Event Description: Fun bike orienteering course for younger children (approx. 4-9 years).

Who can take part: Families with younger children (approx 4-9 years). One adult must be with the children at all times
Aim of The Event: The aim of this event is to encourage families to spend quality time together cycling, while exploring the local MY Greenway. We also aim to provide free bike hire for both children and adults who may have forgotten the joy of cycling or don’t have a bike of their own
Event Description: “Participants will be guided by ride leaders as they cycle from Midleton to the Mogeely section of the MY Greenway. A brief stop will be made in Mogeely, where you can enjoy picnic items you bring along, or grab a refreshment from the coffee trailer. You are welcome to bring your own bike; if you don’t have one, please indicate on your registration along with your height to request a bike.”

Who can take part: Families who are able to cycle 16km together are welcome to participate. Bikes are available for those who don’t have their own, with options for adults and children aged 7+. Event Description: A cycle around Ballincollig, to include a section through the Ballincollig Regional Park and an information talk. Bike mechanic workshop and refreshments to conclude the event.

Aim of The Event: To give families and their children an opportunity to come out and cycle in Schull. It was a huge success last year and the families loved the opportunity to cycle in a safe group setting.
Event Description: We will host a family fun cycle. The event will consist of basic bike and helmet set up and maintenance with our cycle coach (last year it was amazing watching the young children take the learning on board). Then we will lead the group pm a cycle on a flatish quiet road – we are guided by the participants as to how far to go c. 8k with small children. Afterwards we will have refreshments to celebrate our achievements.

Event Description: Cycle out the Lee Valley, along the river, through the park, by the 7 the century monastery, thought the woods, along the lake past Dripsey Castle, along hidden byways to a secret waterfall and maybe climb trees and swim along the way. Don’t forget to bring something for the picnic.
