This year, in association with Ireland Lights Up, the GAA and a number of walking groups and clubs around Cork, Cork Sports Partnership are launching the Community Walks Campaign to start 2023 with a bang! There will be events held in various locations around Cork including: Bishopstown, Island Wood, Glanworth, Clonakilty and Courtmacsherry to name a few. The Campaign aims to get more people walking in Cork from January 2023 in accordance with the goals of the ‘Get Cork Walking’ Initiative.

We are also still welcoming any community groups that would like to get involved in hosting a one-off walk for their community or start a walking programme over the next few weeks.
