Cork Cycle Right Programme Report 2022
1,642 pupils from 52 Cork Primary Schools participated in the ever popular Cork Cycle Right Right Programme with Cork Sports Partnership in 2022! This 6-8 week subsidised programme is coordinated by Cork Sports Partnership on behalf of Cork City Council and Cork County Council each year and provides 3rd-6th class pupils with:
- Skills and knowledge on a phased basis to prepare for cycling in increasingly complex road scenarios
- Road skills training mixed with theoretical and Rules of the Road instruction based at classroom and off-road locations
- On-road training in a local environment appropriate for novice riders
Thank you also to Avondhu Blackwater Partnership and Cork City Partnership for supporting a further 70 pupils

Looking Ahead To 2023:
2023 will be another busy year with over schools already schedule to start their 6-8 week programme in January and February with Cork Sports Partnership’s experienced Cycling Ireland approved instructors!
