Tandem Pilot Training Course

Would you like to become a tandem bike pilot to support people who are blind or vision impaired? 

Cork Sports Partnership, Vision Sports Ireland and Cycling Ireland are delighted to bring a tandem pilot training course to Cork this Spring.  

This training course provides cyclists with the skills and confidence to pilot an individual who is blind or vision impaired on a tandem bike. 

Course Information 

The training consists of two sessions: 

• A 2-hour online workshop, completed before in-person training. 
• A 3-hour in-person, practical workshop. 

To complete the course, attendance at both workshops is required.

Online Workshop

• Date: Thursday, April 24th
• Time: 7 – 9pm

In- Person Workshop

• Date: Saturday, April 26th 
• Time: 11am – 2pm 
• Location: The Mercy Centre, Mallow
