Meitheal Mara, Cork’s community boatyard and maritime training centre, is excited to announce a new opportunity to join their team! They are currently recruiting for a part-time Water Activities Assistant Manager – Trainer to help them deliver inclusive, engaging, and empowering water-based experiences to people of all ages and backgrounds.
About the Role
This is a 19.5-hour per week position, offered on a fixed-term contract until October 2026. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting their water activities programme, which includes rowing, sailing, and dragon boat paddling. You’ll work closely with youth and community groups, helping to foster confidence, teamwork, and a love for the water.

They are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and passionate about working with people. Experience in water activities, community engagement, or training is a plus. Garda vetting will be required for the successful candidate.
