Cork Sports Partnership and NFL UK & Ireland have teamed up to roll out a new ‘Play Flag Football’ Programme this November. The NFL Flag programme provides a fast paced, inclusive and easy to access American Football format suitable for all, and with flag football’s inclusion in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games, there has never been a more exciting time to get involved!
The aim is to help develop the character of the children by focusing on the NFL core values of Respect, Integrity, Resilience, and Responsibility; as well as helping them learn how to play NFL Flag.
THE PROGRAMME PROVIDES EACH SCHOOL WITH:
- Free one day training for teachers to enable confident coaching of the skills needed to play NFL Flag
- Free flag starter pack including 10 balls and 30 flag belts
- Free 6 week NFL Flag curriculum resource
- Free competitive tournament pathway
