In line with the GAA value of Inclusiveness, Cork Sports Partnership in partnership with Rebel Og Coaching are developing GAA For All.
Cork GAA For All aims to provide Gaelic Game Activities to people with disabilities in their local community club settings in Cork and promote the ethos of a community club for all. The activities provided through GAA For All can include, but are not limited to the 5 Star Centre activities of Fun & Run, Catch & Kick, Strike It, Go Games and Have a Ball.
Cork Sports Partnership have worked closely with clubs across Cork to develop an inclusive club model supporting players of all abilities to join their local GAA Club.
In Year 1 Cork Sports Partnership piloted the inclusive club model with Midleton GAA Club and Killeagh GAA Club which included:
Year 2 Cork Sports Partnership supported Youghal GAA Club Newcestown GAA
Year 3 Cork Sports Partnership worked with Castleyons GAA, Bantry GAA, Aghada GAA and Mitchelstown GAA to develop an inclusive club approach. We also hosted a GAA for All networking event for new and existing clubs to come together and share ideas, network and gain practical skills that promote inclusive clubs.
