Cork Cycling Campaigns | Novice Ladies Bike Ride
Fun social leisure cycle for novice or nervous female cyclists! A nice, easy & gentle spin, perfect if you’re new to cycling or just haven’t been on the bike in a while. It’s a lovely way to get out, meet a few people, and enjoy the craic for Bike Week! Just bring your bike, a helmet, and yourself – we’ll take it nice and handy.

Long and short cycle options for Active cyclists. Approx 15km and 45km to choose from

Cork Harbour Greenway Cycle
A two‐hour guided cycle tour along the scenic Cork Harbour Greenway. Over 95% of the route is on cycle paths or traffic‐free routes, making it ideal for those who might be nervous about cycling in an urban environment. The tour begins and finishes at St Patrick’s Quay and follows Centre Park Road, Marina Promenade, the Old Blackrock Railway, Mahon Greenway, Marina Park, and Monaghan Road. Along the route, there will be brief stops at key points of interest, offering historical and natural commentary. Eight bikes, helmets, and hi‐viz will be provided, ensuring that the event is accessible to all.

Fix Your Gears taster
An intro session on gears, this will give a better understanding of how they should work. The focus will be on helping you to recognise the different types of problems, and this may allow you to fix any issues that come up on your bike. Feel free to bring your bike along, we will provide bikes for you to try out the repair work yourself. We will have materials and tools provided.

Bike Doctor @ CUH
Mechanics from Cork Community Bikes will thoroughly check your bike and carry out any small repairs as needed. They will explain whats been done and give advice on looking after your bike, and you’ll have a bike prescription to take away. outdoor event.

Cork City to Cobh & Great Island Cycle
A cycle out to Great Island out the old railway greenway. Cross on the ferry before cycling around Great Island There will be a break for a picnic in Marlog before Cobh with panoramic views of Cork harbour and beginning the journey back to the city.

Suitability:16+ Younger children welcome in bike seat or trailer | This will be one of the longer, faster cycles of the week and so will be particularly suited to more confident cyclists.

Cork City Gallery Tour 
A relaxed social tour of a number of Cork City Galleries’ current exhibitions. Come join us for inspiring works of art, cultured conversation, sophisticated canopies, and a lovely evening cycle.
All welcome free refreshments included. We are limited to 20 participants due to gallery capacity so please book your space to avoid disappointment.

Free Bike Doctor Sessions Grand Parade
Learn how to check your bike, spot problems before they are serious and fix simple problems like adjusting brakes, changing brake pads or tubes. Or have me pump up your tyres, adjust your gears and brakes, oil everything and check everything is in safe working order. And all free!

Evening Collage Making Workshop 
A fun evening of bike-themed art! Internationally renowned collage artist Silvio will provide everything you need and some gentle guidance for you to create your own bike-themed masterwork celebrating the joy and freedom of cycling. And all free!
