Parkrun & Men’s Health Week 2026 – Take the First Step This Saturday

As part of Men’s Health Week 2026 (June 15–21), Cork Sports Partnership is encouraging men and boys across Cork to take part in their local Parkrun on Saturday, June 20th.

Parkrun is a free, weekly 5km event that takes place in parks and open spaces across the county. It’s open to everyone — whether you prefer to walk, jog, run, or volunteer — making it one of the most inclusive and accessible ways to get active.

Why Parkrun?

Taking part in a Parkrun is a simple but powerful way to support your health and wellbeing. It offers:
✅ A relaxed, welcoming environment
✅ The opportunity to go at your own pace
✅ A chance to meet others in your community
✅ A consistent, free and accessible way to stay active

For many, Parkrun is about more than exercise — it’s about connection, routine, and feeling part of something positive.
