New wheelchair tennis programme starts this October.

New Wheelchair Tennis Programme 

*PLEASE NOTE NEW START DATE*

Following on from a Come and Try event in May, Tennis Ireland, Cork Sports Partnership, Irish Wheelchair Association Sport, Rebel Wheelers, and Whitechurch Tennis Club invite children and teenagers to come and try wheelchair tennis this October. 

The sessions will provide participants with an opportunity to learn and practice tennis skills, make friends, and have fun. 

Equipment can be provided. 

Programme Information:  

  • Venue: Whitechurch Tennis Club
  • Age Range: Children and teenagers aged 8 – 17
  • When: Fridays, 5 – 6p.m.
  • Programme Duration: Sessions will run for 7 weeks. 
  • PLEASE NOTE NEW START DATE: 17th October 2025
  • Finish Date: 5 December 2025
  • Please note: There will be no session on Halloween, Friday October 31st.
