Our TY Sports Coaching Programme has come to an end for 2023/24 school, seven schools from across the county took part in the programme which consisted of six different coaching programmes each month being hosted in a different school.
Thanks to the 29 students who took part from the North Monastery Secondary School, Colaiste Treasa, Kanturk, Carrignafoy CC, Edmund Rice College Carrigaline, CBS Charleville, Terence MacSwiney CC and Bishopstown CS.
Each student received a certification in Handball, Soccer, Athletics, Rowing, Volleyball and Disability & Inclusion in Sport. This was with the view that the students would bring back the knowledge gained from each workshop and deliver to junior cycle students in their school, support and volunteer at Cork Sports Partnership school sports events while also provided with equipment for continued school participation in each sport
