Youth Leader Soccer Programme 2025
Cork Sports Partnership, Cork City Council, Cork ETB & FAI are delighted to again launch the popular Youth Leader Soccer Programme this May! Delivered online and in person this programme aims to support & develop youth participants coaching skills, confidence and leadership in a supportive environment!
Programme Details:
- Starts Wed, 14th May 2025
- Online via Zoom & In Person
- 16-21 Year Olds | Male & Female

What is involved?
- Full attendance and participation is required on each of the following workshops and courses:
- Wed 14th May Safeguarding 1 Child Protection In Sport Course 6.30-9.30pm (online)
- Wed 21st May Sports First Aid 6.30-8.30pm (online)
- Wed, 28th May Disability Awareness in Sport (6.30-8pm online)
- Wed, 4th June FAI Me And My Ball Practical 6.30-9.30pm (City Centre in person)
Criteria:
- Participants must be aged between 16-21 years old. Those under 18 will require permission from a parent or guardian. – Parent/guardian will be required to register on their behalf
- Have in interest in coaching children
- Commit to attending all course dates and actively engage in each workshop
- Participants will be required to be Garda vetted prior to the course beginning to receive FAI certification. All participant will need to set up a FAI Comet account to register for certification
- Interested participants will be required to give a short background on why they would like to participate on this programme
