Cork Sports Partnership, Table Tennis Ireland and the Munster Branch of Table Tennis Ireland are now taking registrations for the Teachers Activator Award Course. The award is a Table Tennis Ireland initiative aimed at providing a practical introduction to table tennis as well as ideas for coaching activities in schools, youth groups and disability services, clubs and community groups.

The Teachers Award Course will provide participants with the knowledge to:
- Introduce players to the basic skills of table tennis in a fun and exciting way
- Have the creativity and confidence to deliver table tennis sessions to students
- Make the skills activities easier or harder for different ability levels
- For schools, identify where table tennis can be introduced to the school curriculum
