Cork Sports Partnership and Badminton Ireland have teamed up to roll out a new Schools Badminton Programme this September. The programme aims to overcome the initial barriers of introducing badminton into a school environment by; educating teachers to coach Badminton, providing teachers with session plans and equipment to deliver the game while also developing club-school links.

- Providing teachers with session plans and resources to deliver the game
- Creating links between local clubs & schools
This programme includes:
- Shuttletime Teachers Course (mandatory 2 teachers per school attending)
- Disability Inclusion Training
- School Affiliation
- Blitz Day
- Kitbag & Coaching Plans
Teachers Course Details:
- Teacher Training Date: Wed, 18th Sept
- Venue: Colaiste Choilm, Ballincollig
- Time: 10am–4pm
- Cost: €80 per school – two teacher places and 2 kitbags (30 rackets and shuttlecocks)
