Cork Sports Partnership and Orienteering Ireland are now taking registrations for the popular Cork Schools ‘Ready to Go Orienteering’ Programme 2025!
‘Ready to Go Orienteering’ is an Orienteering Ireland initiative, aimed at introducing and promoting the sport of orienteering into schools and provide teachers with the necessary training and resources to successfully implement the programme in a school setting.
In return for full commitment to the programme, each school will receive a subsidised teacher training day face to face (5 hours), a resource folder, equipment pack, numerous school event opportunities and the option of a school mapping service (additional cost)
What is included:
- Resource Pack: Course Attendance, Resource Folder, Equipment Pack, Event (10 kites, 10 punches and 100 control cards): €60 (one teacher place, one pack per school)
- School Mapping: Additional cost depending on the size and location of the school

- Time: 10am-3pm
