Cork Sports Partnership, Cork City Council, Cork ETB & Munster Rugby are delighted to launch the return of the popular Youth Leader Rugby Programme this April during the Easter break! Delivered in person from Virgin Media Park this programme aims to support & develop youth participants coaching skills, confidence and leadership in a supportive environment!
Programme Details:
  • 22nd – 26th April 2025
  • 10am-1/2pm each day
  • Virgin Media Park
  • 16-21 Year Olds | Male & Female
  • Sports Half Zip Included
  • Lunch and refreshments provided
  • Limited Places Available!

What is involved?

  • Full attendance and participation is required on each of the following workshops and courses:
    • Tues 22nd April: Sports First Aid 10am-12pm & 12.30-1.30pm fun games @ Virgin Media Park
    • Wed 23rd April: Safeguarding 1 Child Protection In Sport Course 10am-12.30pm & 12.30-1.30pm fun games @ Virgin Media Park
    • Thurs 24th April: Disability Awareness in Sport 10am-11.30am & & 11.30-1pm fun games @ Virgin Media Park
    • Sat, 26th April: IRFU Children’s Coach Course 11.30am-3pm @ Virgin Media Park

Criteria:

  • Participants must be aged between 16-21 years old. Those under 18 will require permission from a parent or guardian. – Parent/guardian will be required to register on their behalf
  • Have in interest in coaching children, experience not required
  • Commit to attending all course dates and actively engage in each workshop
  • Participants assisting as coaches following the programme will be required to be Garda vetted
  • Interested participants will be required to give a short background on why they would like to participate on this programme
