Following a hugely successful Cork Bike Week 2021, plans are back in motion to organise the week-long celebration of cycling throughout Cork City and County for 2022!
Cork Bike Week is an integral part of the overall National Bike Week initiative and is coordinated locally by a multi-agency group comprised of Cork Sports Partnership, Cork City Council & Cork County Council.
Each year, Cork Bike Week is supported by numerous community groups, organisations, clubs, schools, workplaces and disability services who organise and take part in events throughout the week.

Cork Bike Week School Events
Cork City Council & Cork County Council have secured funding from the Department of Transport, Sport and Tourism to support a limited number of school cycling events during Cork Bike Week 2022. Cork City Council & Cork County Council are offering your school the opportunity to organise your own National Bike Week event to celebrate cycling within your school and community.
- Funding Availability: Max €200 for School Events and event must be held within the week of Cork Bike Week.
