Community Facilities Survey 2025

Calling All Cork Community Centre Facilities!!

Cork Sports Partnership is currently conducting research to better understand the landscape and needs of community facilities and centres in Cork.

This survey seeks to identify local support needs and assess potential future opportunities to boost sports and physical activity in community facilities across Cork.

Maurice O’Sullivan, Strategic Operations Manager, says ‘‘Community facilities play a vital role in supporting people of all ages and abilities with getting active in our communities. Cork Sports Partnership is currently undertaking this needs analysis to provide us with a bigger picture of what is currently happening in local community facilities throughout the city and county. The information gathered will be vital in helping us to identify gaps and potential areas of support for community facilities in Cork going forward. This will enable us to engage and collaborate with more communities on an annual basis, ultimately supporting those centres and facilities to get more people active through sport & physical activity.”

Your feedback is crucial in helping us shape the future of community sport & physical activity initiatives to ensure they meet the needs of everyone in the community. This survey should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.

Responses will remain confidential and will be used solely for the purpose of improving community facilities and their sport & physical activity offerings. We appreciate your time.

You can start the survey by clicking here: forms.office.com/e/v37V6yQLe0

All community centres & halls  that complete the survey will be entered in a draw for a sports equipment pack worth €300.
