Down the Line for a 99 Family Fun Cycle
Down the Line for a 99! Fun and sociable cycle for families/ occasional cyclists. Start at Pairc Ui Chaoimh, cycle along ‘The Line’ to Passage West for a free ice cream and back!

eBike Morning Magic Mogeely To Midleton 
eBike Morning Magic: Mogeely to Midleton Farmers Market. Participants have the opportunity to try an ebike and cycle the newly opened section of Greenway between Mogeely and Midleton to visit the Midleton Farmer’ Market.

Bike Week Olympics Fun & Games Picnic
A fun play focussed event aimed particularly and children and families but open to all to discover their fun side. A social picnic will be accompanied by fun bike games such as a slow race obstacle course etc.

Bike Week Opening Night Midnight Cycle Of Lights
A fun slow & social bike parade to open bike week along the cycle lanes of the city center with lights to light the dark.

Time:  11:30pm-1:30am

Mechanics from Cork Community Bikes will thoroughly check your bike and carry out any small repairs as needed. We’ll explain what we’re doing and give advice on looking after your bike, and you’ll have a bike prescription to take away. Bad weather could affect this outdoor event.

A cycle out to Passage out the old railway greenway. There will be a break for a picnic in Passage before beginning the journey back to the city.

Join Cork Cycling Campaign on a tour of the city’s best independent coffee spots by bike, discover new routes and sample new blends in this easy-going social cycle

Fix Your Bike & Guided Cycle 
This special Fix Your Bike session will allow people to learn how to fix their bikes with the help of mechanics from Cork Community Bikes. Guided rides to the workshop will leave Cork Opera House at 1.45pm and 3pm. Mechanics will run through full bike checks with you, and a limited amount of small parts will be offered for free for repairs. Refreshments provided.

Bike Week Design a t-shirt competition & Bike Sense ‘Cycling for everyone’ workshop x 2/3. To promote cycling as a form of recreation for children & Educate public on bike care and maintenance. Art competition would be promoted thoughout the library branch network, as well as directly to Primary schools in Cork County. The children would be invited to submit a drawing, with a cycling related theme, with the chance that each branch winner would have their design printed on a t-shirt for them to keep & Educate workshop attendees on to how care and maintain their bikes.

Venture Greenway Cycle Day

Bringing 10 Venture scouts 15-17 year olds on a cycle through the Waterford Greenway to experience all Ireland has to offer in scenery and nature, Bikes will be hired on the morning in Dungarvan, and they will set off on the old railway line to the Clonea Road.on through the Ballyvolane Tunnel to Durrow, onto Kilmacthomas and to Kilmeaden and the railway station. That is approximately 35km so the Ventures will turn back at that stage after having had lunch.
