Cork Sports Partnership and Orienteering Ireland are now taking registrations for the Cork Schools ‘Ready to Go Orienteering’ Programme. This phase of the programme will operate for a limited number of Cork schools during the academic year.
‘Ready to Go Orienteering’ is an Irish Orienteering Association initiative, aimed at introducing and promoting the sport of orienteering into schools and provide teachers with the necessary training and resources to successfully implement the programme in a school setting.
In return for full commitment to the programme, each school will receive a subsidised teacher training day face to face (5 hours), a resource folder, equipment pack, numerous school event opportunities and the option of a school mapping service (additional cost)
