MoveWell is a community-based, low-intensity strength-building class for adults with specific chronic conditions and it now comes to LeisureWorld Churchfield!
Building on the success of the MoveWell class in LeisureWorld Bishopstown which has been running since June 2023, Cork Kerry Community Healthcare & Cork Sports Partnership are expanding the programme to LeisureWorld Churchfield in 2025.
MoveWell offers adults with specific chronic diseases the opportunity to take part in low-intensity strength-building physical activity in a safe and friendly environment.
Who is this class suitable for?
The class is suitable for any adult with low levels of physical activity who is looking to gain support and confidence to become active with the following conditions; Type II Diabetes, Asthma, COPD & Cardiovascular Disease, that would benefit from becoming more active.

Class Details:
- Classes at Churchfield will commence on Tuesday February 25th at 11.00am.
- The 1st class is free of charge and subsequent classes will be at a subsidised rate of €5.
