Supporting Disability in Sport, Physical Activity and PE.

Cork Sports Partnership are delighted to launch an exciting new series of disability support workshops and webinars this Autumn. 

The series is suitable for sports coaches, fitness instructors, teachers, SNAs or any individual seeking to support those with disabilities in sport, physical activity or PE. 

Drawing on expert disability groups, participants will be presented with a mix of both theory and practical ideas to bring back to their club, team, community group or classroom. 

If you are keen to build your knowledge and skillset around inclusive sport or are striving to be a disability-inclusive club these workshops might be for you.

Little Lámh for Sport

A workshop for those supporting Lámh users in a sport, physical activity or PE setting.

Supporting Young People with DCD/Dyspraxia in Sport, Physical Activity and PE.

Delivered by Dyspraxia DCD Ireland, this online webinar will provide a background on dyspraxia/ DCD as well as practical tips and strategies for sport, physical activity and PE.

Disability Inclusion Training

This online workshop, presented by Active Disability Ireland, will provide participants with knowledge, skills and ideas on how to adapt sport, physical activity or PE sessions to make them more accessible for people with disabilities. Content will include interactive group work, theory and adaptation tools which can be applied to games and activities.

Supporting Autism in Sport, Physical Activity and PE

Join Dr Susan Crawford for this in-person workshop which will provide an insight into autism, how children/young people with autism learn motor skills and practical ideas for warms ups, stretches and activity adaptions.
